Pep Guardiola has moved to dampen the expectations being placed on Man City's incoming Brazilian teenage striker Gabriel Jesus.
Jesus finished the year joint top scorer for the Selecao and will join City in January from Palmeiras.
Guardiola expects a challenging transition for the youngster, but with his compatriots Fernandinho and Fernando here to help him settle in, a plan is already in place for the young forward’s arrival.
Ahead of the Crystal Palace game Guardiola said: “We cannot forget he is 19 years old. We are delighted he is coming in Jnauary. He will try to help us. At 19 is not easy but we have two of the nicest people I have met in my career, Fernando and Fernandinho, and they will help him.”
